Easy Reading Books on Mathematics, Physics, and Their History

Our founding partner said "We aim to present science through its history and to make our heroes real by connecting their unfinished work to the continuity of civilizations." ADASI is your publisher for books on science and its history. Our company also brings special discounts to our web readers who have visited us directly.

Fortunately, however, ADASI is more revealing about its methods and motivations. We aim to bring tools of self-education to your desktop and to offer classics and seminal books on science or on its history. Indeed, it is sometimes hard to tell which of these categories an ADASI book fits because we view knowledge as interdisciplinary. Citing Johannes Kepler's legendary conception of a cosmology while teaching geometry to his students, ADASI views itself as positioned where science education and science are mutually reinforcing.

ADASI's Books of the Month

  • Galileo's Two New Sciences
  • Drake's History of Free Fall
  • MacLachlan's Children of Prometheus
  • Di Canzio's Galileo: His Science and His Significance for the Future of Man

For descriptions of these books, please visit the website www.adasi.com.

ADASI seeks contributions from writers who resonate to the dictum of one of its contributing authors: "The history of science is as much about science as it is about history. I aim to present science through its history and to make our heroes real by connecting their unfinished work to the continuity of civilizations."

Acutely sensing the heuristic nature of learning and the dynamism of the quest for new knowledge, ADASI does not shrink from publishing a book because its author seeks a dialectic overturn of his own position from an earlier work. The roots of our attitude toward free expression can be seen in Galileo's finest compliment to a fellow scientist-Kepler—of whom Galileo said that he is "more a friend to truth than to his own opinions. As examples of subject matter that interests our editors, already scheduled to appear in future editions of ADASI's catalog at www.adasi.com are manuscripts whose tentative titles are:

  • Conflict Dynamics
  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Constructive Heuristics and Education
  • Organizational Dynamics and Strategy
  • Data Mining of Binary Data Sets

Note to Prospective Contributors

If you want to get your message out there, we can help. Prior to submitting your manuscript, please contact us by mail or e-mail for an invitation to submit, describing in 500 words or less your topic and your motivation for writing on that topic. Unaccepted manuscripts will not be returned and will be destroyed unless the author provides a shipping container with full postage.

In addition to publishing science books, ADASI also provides business consultant services.
